Microgaming became Games Global: what happened and when

In November 2021 Microgaming agreed to sell its Quickfire distribution platform and its entire games portfolio to Games Global Limited, and the deal completed in May 2022. Games Global, also headquartered on the Isle of Man, took over the games, the progressive jackpot network behind Mega Moolah and the operator relationships.

For an operator the practical consequence is simple: when your team says "Microgaming games", the content now comes under the Games Global name. Searches for a Microgaming API and a Games Global API point to the same catalogue.

Idempotency and signatures

The call_id is unique per transaction; store it and answer a repeat with the original result. The game_id you receive equals the id_hash from getGameList exactly. A request with rb=1 undoes a previous movement once. Authenticate each call with key = md5(timestamp + salt_key), accepting timestamps up to 30 seconds old, and reply HTTP 200 with error 0, 1 (insufficient funds, include the balance) or 2 (bad signature, unknown player, processing error). Opening a game from your lobby

Opening a Games Global title is one POST. Send method=getGame to https://api.softaggregator.com/api/v1 with api_login, api_password, user_username, user_password, gameid (the id_hash), lang, currency, device, country and homeurl, and load the URL you receive into an iframe.

For visitors, getGameDemo opens the fun version when play_for_fun_supported is true. For support, getPlayerHistory lists a player's recent rounds with legs merged, up to 500 per request, filtered by UTC date if needed.
