What is a table games API?

A table games API delivers the software versions of the casino table classics — blackjack, roulette, baccarat, casino poker and video poker — where a certified random number generator deals the cards or spins the wheel instead of a human dealer. The player sits alone at the table, plays at their own speed and can start with a very small stake. Through SoftAggregator, these games come from the same integration as the slots and live tables, and they are identified in the game list by game_type: table.

RNG tables are the quiet workhorses of a casino. They rarely headline a campaign, yet they serve two audiences that matter: the strategy player who wants rules and speed, and the newcomer who wants to learn blackjack or roulette before joining a live table with other players watching. RNG or live dealer: two products, one catalogue

The same game name hides two different products. The live version is streamed from a studio with a dealer and a betting timer; the RNG version is animated software without a timer. Each has its place.

RNG blackjack: small rules, big differences

Blackjack is the table game where rules change the return the most, and experienced players read the rule card before they sit down. The points below come from standard blackjack mathematics and apply whichever studio built the game.

• Blackjack payout. A natural paid 3:2 is the classic. Tables paying 6:5 cost the player roughly 1.4 percentage points of return; knowledgeable players avoid them.
• Dealer on soft 17. A dealer who stands on soft 17 (S17) is slightly better for the player than one who hits (H17).
• Number of decks. Fewer decks favour the player a little; many RNG games shuffle every hand anyway.
• Doubling and splitting. Double after split, re-splitting aces and surrender each add small fractions of a percent.
• Variants. Classic, European (no hole card), Atlantic City, Vegas Strip, Blackjack Switch, Pontoon, multi-hand and side-bet versions such as Perfect Pairs and 21+3.

With good rules and basic strategy, RNG blackjack returns above 99%, which makes it the favourite of careful players. Show the rules clearly on the tile or in the game info; the players who care will look for them.

RNG roulette and baccarat

Roulette software comes in European (single zero), French and American (double zero) versions, plus multi-wheel, mini roulette with 13 pockets and themed variants. The single-zero wheel returns about 97.3% on most bets, the double-zero wheel less, so European and French versions deserve the front of the row.

RNG baccarat is punto banco without the ceremony: Player, Banker or Tie, drawing rules applied automatically, a hand every few seconds. Banker bets carry the lowest house edge, about 1.06% with the usual 5% commission; Player is about 1.24%; the tie, usually paid 8:1, is far more expensive. No-commission versions pay less on a Banker win with six instead. Baccarat players from Asia use RNG tables to practise patterns before going live.

Casino poker and video poker

Players who like poker but not other players have a whole family of house-banked games:

• Casino Hold’em. Ante, two cards, a flop, then call at twice the ante or fold. The dealer must qualify with a pair of fours or better.
• Three Card Poker. Ante and Play against the dealer, plus the Pair Plus side bet that pays on the player’s own hand.
• Caribbean Stud Poker. Five-card stud against a dealer who qualifies with ace-king or better, often with a progressive side bet.
• Oasis, Texas Hold’em Bonus, Let It Ride. Further variants with their own ante structures.
• Video poker. Jacks or Better, Deuces Wild, Joker Poker, Double Bonus. A full-pay 9/6 Jacks or Better returns about 99.5% with perfect play, which is why video poker keeps a dedicated following.

Video poker is technically a machine game, but players look for it next to the tables; group them together in your lobby.

Table games have a wallet particularity: decisions inside a round cost money. Doubling down, splitting or placing an insurance bet in blackjack, or calling in Casino Hold’em, arrive as additional debits on the same round_id.
